I’m looking forward to seeing Crazy Heart. I get to see this next week and it looks very good. I haven’t seen Jeff Bridges in a prominent movie role in quite some time so I’m very excited, especially since Mr. Bridges just bagged the Golden Globe for his performance in this.

And even though I’m not really a country/western music fan, I’m pretty fond of the title song “Weary Heart” (which coincidentally, also won the second golden globe this movie received for Best Original Song).

The latest action flick for Nic Cage is called “Season of the Witch”. We haven’t had any decent movies about witches for a while (and when I say decent, I mean scary) but Season of the Witch looks set to change all that. Check it out:

Where the Wild Things Are releases in New Zealand on the 3rd of December, 2009.

I first read about The Crazies via Twitter and started following it. Now it’s getting closer to release! The movie stars Timothy Olyphant (Hitman) and Radha Mitchell (Silent Hill) and although it’s kinda like another zombie movie (of which we’ve had a huge influx of recently), it’s really not about zombies at all…

The Crazies is a remake based on the original George Romero classic. It looks great!

Leonardo DiCaprio is back in his latest flick where he plays a cop (Teddy Daniels) following the trail of a muderer who has mysteriously disappeared from a hospital for the criminally insane. Along the way, Daniels begins to question his own sanity in the process.
