Karl Urban to star in Priest

Kiwi hottie (and all-round cool guy) Karl Urban has been confirmed for the role of ‘Black Hat’ in the upcoming movie Priest based on the graphic novel.

As reported by Empire magazine:

Urban’s character, a former priest turned vampire and general nutjob, is called Black Hat, after the grand old Western tradition that the good guys wear white hats, the bad guys black.

We’re looking forward to seeing another kiwi in the movies so this is great news. Considering Karl’s last movie (Star Trek) was a success, we’re betting his career is well on it’s way to higher ground!
