Excalibur remake for Bryan Singer?

Bryan Singer is a busy man these days. According to several sources and recently reported by FirstShowing, it seems Mr Singer may be toying with the idea of getting involved in the remake for Excalibur!

If you’re a fan of cinematic Arthurian legends, you’re bound to know about the 1981 classic Excalibur directed by John Boorman which focused on the story of Arthur Pendragon, the Holy Grail and the love triangle between Arthur, Guinevere and Lancelot. I don’t dislike Bryan Singer but I’m a big fan of the original Excalibur (which you really should see!), and I’m not quite sure Bryan can pull it off.

If it’s anything like the original, it’s bound to be epic but I’ll wait and see what happens with the trailer before getting excited about the project.

In other news, Mr Singer is also eyeing up more X-Men goodness which I’m not too fussed on either way. I enjoyed Wolverine, but it was a 3/5 for me at best.
