Hyped for Underworld: Rise of the Lycans

If you’re a fan of the Underworld movies, then you’re probably looking forward to the final movie in the trilogy ‘Underworld: Rise of the Lycans’. This time the movie is told through the eyes of the Lycans and also has an interesting cast that doesn’t include Kate Beckinsale. Whilst that may be a bit of a bummer for some (the male demographic I’m guessing), newcomer Rhona Mitra should do an equally fantastic job. She was great in ‘Doomsday’ and proved she can deliver the goods as far as action flicks go. It also helps that she can act. On top of that, she’s extremely attractive so I don’t think the Beckinsale fans will be missing her for too long!

It will also be interesting to see someone else at the helm of this movie as previous director Len Wiseman left the project for director Patrick Tatopoulos.

I think US viewers can already see the movie (as it released on the 23rd of January according to ImDB) but kiwi movie-goers will have to wait  a wee while yet as it doesn’t release here until the 12th of March.
